What services do you provide?
I work best when I can give my full attention to every couple and every moment. My wedding coverage is designed for intimate celebrations of around 80 guests or fewer — elopements, proposals, engagements, maternity, and family sessions are all welcome too.
What are the steps to booking with you?
You can use the BOOK A SESSION link below to set an inquiry for your session date or the bookings tab, if you know what coverage you are looking for. From there, we can schedule a consultation by setting a date to meet in person or chat over phone/video. At the meeting, we will get to know each other and address any questions/concerns to ensure we are a good fit. A signed contract and a 50% non-refundable retainer secure your date.
What if I don't know how much time i need?
No problem at all! You can schedule a 15-to 30-minute consultation call with me. Video or phone only.

How much should we be expecting to Invest?
Weddings average range is $4,000-$ 6000 + add-ons. Elopements start at $ 1,000 per hour. Portrait session packages range from $450 to $1600. Do you need something custom to fit your specific needs? No problem, ask for a custom quote! Please note that not everyone has the same circumstances, and I'm happy to explore the options we can work out. Are you available for destination weddings? Do you charge extra for travel in California.
Local Coverage (No Travel Fee):
I am based in the 29 palms and regularly photograph weddings and sessions throughout the High Desert and Coachella Valley, including Joshua Tree, Palm Springs, Twenty-Nine Palms, Yucca Valley, Indio, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, and surrounding areas—all with no additional travel fees.
Extended Travel Within California:
For locations requiring a commute of more than 2 hours one way from Joshua Tree — such as Los Angeles, Malibu, Thousand Oaks, Santa Barbara, Solvang, Camarillo, Ojai, Orange County, and Southern California beaches — I charge a travel fee of $100 per hour of driving time beyond the 2-hour mark.
Example: A 3-hour drive to LA would include a $300 travel fee.
How and when do we receive our images?
Every client is provided with a private online gallery, where they can download high-resolution digital images for up to a year. A sneak peek is presented within 2-10 days of your wedding of around 100 highlight moments. Your final gallery of images will be provided within 30 to 90 days.
Engagements, Proposals, and Family sessions have a turnaround of 2-7 days from the photo session.
The client receives all images back, determined by the photographer's quality standards (misfires/blinking/blurry/overexposed images are removed). All photos will be professionally color-corrected and edited for exposure & crop. Any beauty retouching or body modifications are not included.

What type of payments do you take?
I accept Zelle, PayPal, and Check.
Can you provide Analog Film Photography?
Yes, I am professionally trained in Analog Film photography and can provide medium format film photography at an additional cost, starting at $200 per roll (12 exposures). This includes film, developing, and is personally hand-scanned by Jessica Castro in high resolution. There is also an option for Polaroid photography. Ask for a custom quote if needed. Pricing is subject to the cost of film, developing, and processing.
Do you provide Videography?
No, but I can recommend great vendors I have worked with for several years in the industry.

Where should I have my session?
There are endless possibilities. At the end of the day, your location should be a reflection of your journey together. Where do you enjoy spending time together? Let's find something meaningful and unique to your story. This can be anywhere, from your home, your favorite neighborhood or city spots, to a landscape you frequent or would like to build memories at.
Do you help with planning?
Of course, more than happy to help with planning. I have a questionnaire that I can provide if you're unsure of where to have your shoot. Once we have an idea, I will check to see if any fees or permits are required for our session at the desired location, if applicable. From there, I will make a mood board with some inspiration ideas in mind that help build expectations for the session.
Can I include my pet(s) into my session?
Yes! I'm happy to include pets in a session. If you're shooting outside of your home, having an additional friend or family member come along to help keep them wrangled during the shoot is advisable.
What is needed to book?
My booking site allows you to make an inquiry and check my calendar availability for a session. We can schedule a phone call/video chat to review the details or coordinate the specifics via email. Once the details are confirmed, I will pass a contract outlining the location, date, and agenda for our session. A non-refundable payment of half the total is required to secure the date. The remaining balance must be paid by the session date. A gallery of images is given back within 2-7 days of the session via a web gallery.
